DILICIOUS AND QUICK MIX VEGETABLE RECEPI
recipe for vegetable mix sabzi:
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup mixed vegetables, chopped
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions:
- Heat the oil in a pan over medium
heat. Add the cumin seeds and cook until they start to brown.
- Add the onions and cook until
softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and
cook for 1 minute more.
- Add the tomatoes and cook until
they are soft and mushy, about 5 minutes.
- Add the turmeric powder, red
chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt. Stir to combine.
- Add the mixed vegetables and cook
until they are tender, about 5 minutes.
- Add the water and bring to a
boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, or until the
vegetables are cooked through.
- Serve hot with roti, rice, or
naan.
Tips:
- You can use any type of mixed
vegetables you like in this recipe. Some popular choices include
cauliflower, carrots, potatoes, peas, green beans, and bell peppers.
- If you want a spicier sabzi, you
can add more red chili powder.
- If you want a thicker gravy, you
can add a little more water or tomato paste.
- This sabzi is also delicious
served with a dollop of yogurt or a squeeze of lemon juice.
