EASY MUTTON STEW RECEPIES 😋😋😋😋😋
Kerala Mutton Stew
Ingredients:
- 1 pound boneless mutton, cut into 2-inch chunks
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 green chilies, slit lengthwise
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
Instructions:
- In a large pot, heat the coconut oil over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Add the mutton and cook until browned on all sides.
- Add the water and coconut milk. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 hour, or until the mutton is tender.
- Stir in the cilantro and serve hot.
Pakistani Mutton Stew
Ingredients:

- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch piece of ginger, peeled and minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup yogurt
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
Instructions:
- Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the garlic, ginger, cumin, coriander, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Add the mutton and cook until browned on all sides.
- Stir in the yogurt, chicken broth, and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 hour, or until the mutton is tender.
- Stir in the cilantro and serve hot.
Tips:
- For a richer flavor, brown the mutton in a pressure cooker before adding it to the stew.
- If you don't have coconut milk, you can substitute heavy cream or half-and-half.
- Serve the stew with rice, naan, or roti.
