Dilicious and Quick Chicken Kofta recipe 😋😋

Dilicious and Quick Chicken Kofta recipe 😋😋

Chicken kofta is a popular South Asian dish made with ground chicken, herbs, and spices. Here's a recipe to make chicken kofta:
Ingredients:
500g ground chicken
1 onion, finely chopped
2 green chilies, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp garam masala
Salt to taste
2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped
1 egg, lightly beaten
Oil for frying
For the sauce:

2 tbsp oil
1 onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp ginger paste
2 tomatoes, finely chopped
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp garam masala
Salt to taste
1/4 cup cream
Instructions:
In a large mixing bowl, add the ground chicken, chopped onion, green chilies, minced garlic, ginger paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt, and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well.

Add the beaten egg to the chicken mixture and mix well to combine.

Shape the chicken mixture into small balls (koftas) using your hands.

Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the chicken koftas and fry them until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove the koftas from the pan and set aside.

To make the sauce, heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a separate pan over medium heat. Add chopped onion, minced garlic, and ginger paste. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onion is softened.

Add chopped tomatoes, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well and cook for 5-7 minutes until the tomatoes are soft and the mixture has thickened.

Add cream to the tomato mixture and mix well.

Add the fried chicken koftas to the tomato sauce and simmer for 5-7 minutes until the koftas are coated with the sauce.

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or naan. Enjoy!
